Summary: Three nights in the summertime exploring the Devonport area, which is really great. The main drag has many cafés and restaurants very close to the waterfront, which is picturesque and the Maungauika North Head park is really interesting. Paragliders were hovering over the house for hours on at least two days.

Summary: We had a beautifully comfortable and relaxing stay in this thoughtful, delightful home. Being right on Maungauika was such a treat for us as it is a treasured place, with many happy family memories. It was wonderfully peaceful to see and hear the sea, and inspired by the many daily winter swimmers I even took the plunge. I think that many travellers would love to know that the spaces and orientation of the house are thoughtfully designed to make the most of winter sun and to be cool in summer, and is powered by solar.. thanks Abbie for a welcoming and relaxing last minute stay!
