Positive: Andelin Guest House is a beautiful property with a warm and inviting feel. The house, lounge, and rooms are all well-presented, and the spacious luxury bathroom was a real highlight. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the owners were lovely—friendly, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. The location worked perfectly for us, being close to friends we were visiting, and also offering a pleasant walk to the main street for coffee, groceries, and cafes, as well as convenient access to the ferry.

Negative: The only downside of our stay was the beds, which we found very uncomfortable. This did take away from the otherwise relaxing and cosy experience of the property.

Positive: Staying a bit out of the city was perfection. We had a view of Auckland from our window! Close to great restaurants (thanks for the recommendations!) and close to the ferry. Room and facilities were homey. Highly recommend!!

Positive: Cleanliness of property. Large bathroom, super comfortable bed and amenities available for guest use. David was so accommodating and friendly- made our stay enjoyable. We will stay there again if we are ever back in Devonport.
