Summary: We have spent one week in the villa, with 2 families (8 persons), and we were all delighted : Greatly and newly renovated villa with everything you need ! Amazing garden ! The beach and the small village are really few minutes walk. I have to say that the pictures don’t give the whole justice to the actual place: it was better than expected. And The cherry on the top is the owner Maria ! She is a terrific host, very knowledgeable about the area, and with a warm, generous personality. She and Jim did everything they could to make our stay wonderful, including delicious dried figs !! I would definitely return and highly recommend the place .

Summary: I happily enjoyed an amazing holiday at Villa Maria in Elios, a charming village on the island of Skopelos.There were many things that made my stay relaxing, fun and memorable: my very comfortable, beautifully decorated suite has all high end amenities, a gorgeous view and is located on lovely landscaped grounds just a short stroll along the beach to the village. The village comes alive in the evenings and the Tavernas offer authentic greek food and hospitality. Maria is a terrific host, and with her warm, generous and outgoing personality, she did everything she could to ensure my stay was wonderful. And indeed it was. I will definitely return.

Summary: We stayed nearly three weeks on this beautifully landscaped property and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Time seems to slow down in Greece and the stresses of the life you left behind become irrelevant. The Aegean Sea is very warm and unbelievably buoyant, making it enjoyable even for average swimmers. The gorgeous sunsets over the water every evening never disappointed. The pictures of the home and the view are beautiful, but they don't show the finer details that are apparent everywhere around the property. Air conditioning in every room, top-end Bosch appliances, a beautiful marble staircase, a lovely olive grove, and seemingly endless supplies of fresh figs, lemons, tomatoes and herbs -- all from the gardens on the property -- are just a few of the particulars that made our stay enjoyable. Maria was such a wonderful host, and very knowledgeable about the area. The village of Neo Klima, just a few minute walk along the beach, was a pleasant place to wander around. There were a number of great restaurants in the village to sit down and relax in -- a few of which overlooked the marina. Glossa was another town just a few minute drive away where we could easily spend hours just wandering the streets. Be sure to rent a car or scooters when you go, so you can make your way to the dozens of beaches in the area and Agios Ioannis (the Mamma Mia church), just a short drive away.

Summary: Our 5 week stay in Elios on the island of Skopleos at Villa Maria was breathtaking. The ground level apartment was luxurious and very comfortable, set up with high end appliances and furnishings that made it feel more like a home than a typical rental. It was spacious enough to fit 2 families without any of us getting in one another's way. Maria, the owner, was friendly, inviting and went out of her way to ensure our comfort and make us feel welcome. Everyday we were able to enjoy fresh vegetables and fruit from the garden, smell the jasmine and basil on the terrace and soak in the sun from just about every spot on the large property. I would highly recommend this property and will return many more times. Cecily, West Vancouver Canada
