Positive: Lovely view from the balcony & scrupulously clean inside.
Negative: Nothing But the photos don't do the views (or the appartment) justice.

Positive: Collection of keys by lockbox and easy to find and there was a welcoming message written too so was great. We were driving and was terrific to have a carpark. Accommodation space is great. Lounge area, separate toilet, separate basin and bathroom. Interior fitout with lovely Japanese wall paper and decorations. Separate Japanese style room you can close off for kids or others to sleep. View from the balcony is great to bridge, river & little chipping style golf 'course'. Location great for a lovely walk to river and across the bridge. Restaurant 2 doors down and close to a convenience store. The owner was so accommodating and booked a taxi for us for the Nakasendo Trial. Very pleasant and kind natured.
Negative: Right by the highway which some may think a little noisy but didn't affect us.
Summary: Great space, location and wonderful host

Positive: Location overall. Beds comfy.
Negative: Big Japanese room at expense of any area to make coffee or sorts. No coffee/tea provided ( or water in fridge) which would have been relatively easy/cheap to provide. Couldn't close any blinds to block out sun so up early. Right next to road so noisier than hoped.....did provide ear plugs. Bit of soundproofing would enhance things and a sink/area to prep snacks. Good size but not optimised.

Positive: The apartment was comfortable with a lovely view over the river. It was easy to walk to find restaurants for dinner and breakfast and an easy stop along the Nakasendo.
Negative: The apartment is on a main road so it is a bit loud, but earplugs solved that for us. The main road is a little dark at night.
Summary: Comfortable stop along the Nakasendo

Positive: The view was awesome!
Negative: The description of the accommodations was somewhat misleading. The 6 of us essentially all slept together in a single room. It would have been good to know that in advance.
Summary: Great view, a tad cramped for 6 adults.

Positive: The view of the bridge over the river was lovely. Close to train and supermarket, and cafe, restaurant.
Negative: The beds were ok but the futons were very thin and really better for children (although the host did bring additional futons on request). If you opened windows it was noisy and insects entered. Kitchen was minimal - not even a separate sink. Suitable for a couple or young family.
Summary: Lovely view, convenient, but basic accommodation.

Positive: The location was fabulous with an incredible view of the famous suspension bridge
Negative: No tea or coffee there. Also no local restaurants were open so it was a bit inconvenient for dinner
Summary: The lovely view and comfortable accommodation was very nice.
