Positive: There was no breakfast, but there is a Laundromat very close. No tea or coffee provided and the key was easy to access, but the sliding door lock is a bit temperamental, and since there is a lock on each door it is not clear which one the key opens. We opened both eventually but it took some time and careful maneuvering. We used a luggage service called Nakasendo Luggage Transfer Service that was a terrible experience. The person we spoke to was rude and very disrespectful from the start. It was an upsetting experience that the Oyada owner took concern in and recommended a different service who we would use in the future. A convenient and good place to stay

Positive: Host was excellent, he sent detailed instructions for getting there, checking in and how the air conditioner operated. The room was exceptionally clean. It was also centrally located.

Positive: Spacious apartment with a fabulous balcony overlooking the river. Supermarket and konbini close by for supplies.

Negative: Bit noisy being along the main highway but earplugs were supplied which helped a lot.

Negative: Road noisy is really loud. They also don’t have the right blinds in the house, it’s all translucent facing the road and the car lights shine through and light up the room. The blinds facing the stream are also sunscreen only so people can see in and it doesn’t give privacy
