Sather’s Cove is the perfect place to relax or play, read books in front of the fireplace or storm watch in the winter. Our home is a new 2 story home with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, with an open and accessible layout, perfect for a family trip to the beach.
Located just a short 3 minute walk to the beach in a private gated community (Kiwanda Shores) and within walking distance to downtown Pacific City, the Pelican Brew Pub and Cape Kiwanda Dunes.
The main living area is downstairs with many places to sit and relax by the fireplace, listen to music or watch a movie.. The kitchen comes fully equipped with granite countertops and open dining area. A sliding door leads to a private sheltered back deck with outdoor patio furniture and a gas BBQ. A bedroom with queen bed and a full bath with shower round out the downstairs.
Upstairs includes 2 bedrooms and a play area with a TV/DVD/VCR & game console and Xbox 360. The master suite is furnished in cherry wood with a King sleigh bed, its own gas fireplace, private deck, and full bath. The second bedroom is set up with bunk beds--double on bottom & twin on top and a twin trundle. Just down the hall there is another full bath with shower & tub.
Other amenities for our guests to enjoy include: 5 Bikes - 2 adult/3 kids, toys and games for the entire family, propane BBQ, outdoor shower to wash off after a FUN day at the beach, boogie boards and beach toys. There is something for everyone.
TIPS about our home: In the morning catch the rising sun on the back deck with breakfast outdoors. The covered deck allows relaxing, even when it’s raining. Our favorite place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the Ocean is on the master bedroom deck. Try sitting here during sunset, listening to the Ocean and reading a book…PERFECT!!!!! When the sun finally drops, retire to the master bedroom and enjoy the gas fireplace while still listening to the Ocean.

Summary: This is our second stay at Sather’s Cove. We love it. The house fits all of our needs. The layout is great for an age diverse group as ours (14yrs-77years) the main floor bedroom has a bathroom right close to it so was great for my mobility challenged father. The house is a short walk to the beach and not far from the Pelican Pub, or the sand dunes. We will be back again. Lovely home!

Summary: Spent a wonderful spring break at this lovely home. Short distance from beach access. Great bike trails through the neighborhood for our kids. Took a quick day trip to nearby Tillamook Creamery and endured a treck up the Pacific City Dune! (Well worth the view) The house was lovely and well stocked, met all our needs and then some and the hosts were quick to respond with any questions we had. Will book again!
