Positive: Everything was gorgeous, clean and new. The location was also amazing as shown in pictures

Negative: Just a little hard to get from car parking lot to apartment (we were traveling with my elderly mother and my 3 year old son)

Positive: Very furnished and equipped with enough items such as detergent dishwasher tablets shampoo for our stay. Expensive accessories by Alessi and comfortable furniture. Great view. Last but not least Roberto! We would have struggled getting both our suitcases across cobblestones without his help from the garage.

Positive: Magic renovation of an historic apartment, location viewing the Island and Piazza, absolutely bellisimo. Ricardo ,Roberto were fantastic and nothing was a problem. Well done to Ricardo and his family you are doing a wonderful thing for the magic village of Orta San Giulio.

Negative: nothing, although being a little bit unsophisticated we struggled with the light switches.

Positive: The view from the apartment was to die for! ‘People watching’ from the balcony was sensational. Waking up to see Isola San Giulio each morning was an incredible sight.

Positive: This place is so beautiful. They have retained the old details with high quality new fittings. Fully renovated to high standards. Even gorgeous lighting details. And the view! It’s picture perfect. I felt incredibly blessed sitting out on the balcony having my evening drink. The village is full of history, lots of restaurants at your door step. I small deli restaurant below to grab milk, bread and a few things but best to get a few things on your way if you want to cook as there are no supermarkets or store near by.

Positive: This is an amazing apartment in a storybook setting! Loved everything about this place. Hosts went above and beyond to greet us and make us welcome. The place is clean, clean, clean. Decor is modern, but with old-world charm. Every detail so well appointed. The windows look out on the main piazza and the lake, with Isola San Giulio front and center. There was just something calming and joyful about watching the ferries come and go, listening to the music wafting through the town, and hearing the street sounds coming from the cafes and shops just below. It rained and then the sun came through. The lights on the lake at night...oh my! This was a special experience. It will be our go-to place if we ever get to return. Grazie mille, Chiara, Ricardo, and especially Roberto!

Negative: There was nothing to not like! As an older couple, we were a little daunted by the stairs to get to this apartment, but really, not that many. We just needed to acclimate. This was a fresh, modern apartment so we had to figure out how to make some things work, like the stovetop (thank you Google). We also learned to use a Moka Pot (thank you YouTube). But, honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this property.

Negative: The lighting switches are extremely complicated.. There is no full-size mirror. I wish the parking was closer to the apartment.
