Positive: The sauna and hot spring facilities are fantastic! Highly recommend this hotel for that alone, as well as the very clean and peaceful environment and the delicious breakfast. Really great value all around.

Positive: It's a beautiful hotel and very new. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (especially the young woman from Taiwan!), while the onsen is deligthful. Very relaxing and beautiful views out. Best part was the dinner, though --- one of the best meals I've had in awhile. The Saga steak in particular was out of this world.

Negative: Transport to/from Takeo Onsen can be a little troublesome. Cabs are available but not cheap, while the hotel offers transport but only at fixed times. If your plans change, you're kinda stuck.

Summary: Beautiful new onsen with a great dinner!
