Positive: A very good place to experience Japan’s unique tranquility from its classical buildings. Staffs were so kind and friendly.

Negative: The address linked on Booking.com did not align well with Google Maps. Took a considerable time to find the location.

Positive: The mix between old original and classic modern unfortunately only in the main house The cook was very good and the food was excellent, very thoroughly prepared and arranged, absolutely high class which has helped a lot to balance the stay

Negative: The rooms were old locking but at the end it looked modern No internet working The rooms were not cleaned every day and no one came and looked after the bed , towels and empty the waste basket

Summary: To eat the best, for the rest you find easy better places

Positive: Historical building grade hotel with antique furniture in main building where we have breakfast and dinner. In new wing, rooms are new. Great and large onsen in the open area of the room. Room facilities are excellent. They even have ice making machine, Nespresso, etc. A very large 2-storey room with all necesssry facilities and a very clean room.

Positive: Loved the spacious room and private onsen. Recommended to book the dinner and breakfast as it completed the experience. Special thanks to the staff as we had an issue with our rental and they helped us out.

Negative: Room downstairs was a bit too dark for our liking
