Positive: Very good location as it is just beside takeo onsen station so you can basically travel to most parts of Saga. Room is quite small but clean. Good onsen bath available in level 8. Good breakfast provided.

Positive: The hotel is very near the station. From our room window, we can see the trains entering and leaving the station. The hotel provides a lovely breakfast. Like the manner the food and cutlery is presented. One has to choose which half hour timeslot one wants to eat breakfast. The first timeslot of 6am - 6.30am is usually very quiet and the place is quite empty. I had misplaced my key card in the room. The staff were very kind to give us another key card on the condition we return the misplaced key card once it's found. We did.

Negative: The room is very small. Had to be creative on how we lay out our luggage in the room. The double bed will be too small for large-built guests. Hardly much space to move around the round without bumping into something or someone.

Positive: It was right in front of the JR Takeo Onsen station. Very convenient.

Negative: The room was rather small for two people. We had breakfast, but there was not much variety, with only about 5 types of side dishes. Also, the breakfast time slot was divided into 30-minute periods, and the group before our time slot was rushed to leave. So we rushed to eat as well, which is not a very healthy way of eating. Staff were nice and the upstairs public bath was nice.

Summary: Clean; good location to JR station.

Positive: My stay was great - the hotel is directly in front of Takeo station so easily accessible, and about a 20-25min walk to the Takeo Public Library and shrine. The room was small but really comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic.

Negative: The accommodation was a bit more expensive than I'm used to for such a small room, but my stay was lovely.

Positive: Staff were very accommodating and helped us sort out duplicated bookings. Room was comfortable, felt luxurious and quiet. Breakfast was good. Great location. Good parking space. Less than 10 min drive to Mifuneyama Park.

Negative: This one is hard, but other foreign guests were noisy at the hot bath facility and didn’t clean themselves before entering the hot pools. So the hot pools were rather dirty. This is not the hotel’s faults.

Summary: A convenient, luxurious and comfortable stay at Takeo near Mifuneyama Kouen.
