Positive: It’s a place that can and will fulfill a hotel stay you could only dream of, and you need to experience it yourself to truly understand its majestic qualities.
Negative: I think the way they have everything on site is a double edged sword. It adds a level of convenience and ease during a time meant for retreat and recovery; however, it is easy to say the least to rack up a fairly health bill as a result on top of what is already not a cheap place to stay.

Positive: Lovely pools and spa. But staff took yoga mats we brought and own while we were getting massages. My husband thought I put them in the car and me the same of him. Anyway, spa/gym now has 2 free yoga mats for their studio. :-(
Negative: Terrible food at the spa. Tuna was cottony, everything seemed to come pre-pared from ciscos finest, and nothing was local (in the middle of a farming community). Even turkey burger was lousy. Super cheap white bread bun. Salads were all from a bag and had zero flavor. Montage Laguna has way better food by the pool!
Summary: Beautiful property but a non-return due to food that isn’t even at Marriot level quality.
