Positive: The location . Great views of surrounding area . The quietness . Reception gave a pleasant welcome . Breakfast was reasonable

Negative: The whole place needs revamp . The green room was out dated . They say private patio but not really ( over looked when people using the lounge) there is a microwave but no plates , cutlery . Because the room needed decorating attention it seemed a depressing room .

Summary: Whilst location is good . This property was too over priced .

Positive: The room was comfortable, no frills but very relaxing. The views were amazing, property clean and it had everything we needed. It was a great value and fantastic location. If you are looking for a QUIET place to relax, this is it. Quiet hours start at 7pm, no TVs in the rooms, beautiful grounds, free wifi. It was very easy to mentally disconnect from noise and hustle here.

Positive: Very quiet, all guests were really respectful of the space and other guests, wonderful views, very easy and flexible check in and check out — we arrived after hours and the key and everything was ready for us!, our room had a mini fridge and microwave and tea and coffee set up that was much appreciated! Our stay was very brief as we left early the next morning for the Channel Islands, but for us this was a much better stay for a relaxing sleep than stopping in Ventura! Great restaurants nearby, including Ojai Noodle House, a fave.
