Summary: After 30+ years staying in Hatteras Island, my in-laws wanted a family vacation. I was hesitant, but my expectations were exceeded. The area is quaint, but family friendly with plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. The beach is a pleasant walk, not too far or a difficult walk. Area is flat is sidewalks. There is a really nice playground for children within walking distance as well. The house is excellent overall. Very clean, organized and maintained. The bunk beds in the basement do need replaced rather soon, but absolutely no other complaints. They are sinking down in the middle and worn out. Decks are very nice, LOVED the hammock swings on the mid-tier. If you're looking for a GREAT place to stay, this is the place for you.

Summary: Pros:The inside of the house was clean and has plenty of space for multiple families to stay comfortably. About a 5 min walk to beach. Pet friendly! Cons: The pool was closed although it stated in description it was supposed to be open the week we were coming in. Someone changed the dates last minute on their site before arriving. The neighbors had the same property owner and their pool was open so the was aggravating! Spiders and webs are everywhere on the property! We had them falling in the hot tub and there was spider eggs floating on the water before getting in every time we went to use it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying if you have children or afraid of spiders!

Summary: The location of this house was amazing! Close to the grocery store and 5-10 mins walk to the beach, had perfect access for those things. However, you can not go outside after 9pm at this house. There is an incredible amount of spiders all over the outside of this house! You can not open a door or walk to the trash can without ducking under spiders or running into webs.

Summary: We loved the house and the neighborhood was beautiful! It was an easy and pleasant walk to the beach and was convenient to restaurants and groceries. The only thing I would say is that it was a bit chilly at night and there were no extra blankets that we were able to find. We used the bedspreads of the beds that were not being used so go by. But there definitely should be more blankets if the need arises. We would absolutely stay there again! Thank you!
