Summary: This family vaca was terrible with housing. The pictures I have of the dirty dishes, the exterior was disgusting with spiders everywhere you couldn’t even set on the chairs which Brindley Beach finally power washed on day 4. They provide 2 dish towels for an 8 bedroom house, not one bath mat, toilet loose, clogged bathroom sink, pool lights did not work and people getting sick due to the filthy disgusting air filters that simply blow dirt out. Called VRBO and after 6 calls (they kept magically dropping when in hold) to be told they won’t do anything to help. Thank you Wendy at Brindley for getting house power washed, sink and toilet attempt to fix . Whoever owns Turtle Key in Corolla shame on you for having a disgusting house that you are robbing peoples money with.

Summary: While the layout of the house is great for a big group, the equipping of it left a lot to be desired given the description of it. First, the kitchen. It was very oddly outfitted. Lots of plates but no bowls. No wine glasses and not nearly enough of other glasses given the size of the house and the number of people expected to stay there. The flatware was cheap and bent easily. While there were two toasters, only 1/2 of one of them (the one that did bagels) worked. However, the two sinks and two dishwashers were a good touch as we needed to do dishes after every meal. Next, cleanliness, while the bathrooms seemed clean, there were spiders in most of the shower stalls and cob webs in most of the corners of the house and in the ceiling. Also, while we didn't expect to use the pool given the time of year, it was disgusting to look at as it wasn't covered and seemed to have mold growing in it. Electronics - yes, there were blu ray players and dvds but none of them worked and there were no remote controls for them. Finally, although we were warned in advance, we thought it odd to arrive at a house where the blankets and comforters weren't cleaned between uses (we brought our own). All in all, while the house was adequate and had a great view (the reason we chose it), we wouldn't rent it again nor recommend it to friends.
