Summary: The property is absolutely gorgeous with lush greenery everywhere. Rooms were spacious , clean and very comfortable. Pools were not overly crowded and they had one pool just for adults, which was nice. They have an onsite dive center, though difficult to get to this was the main reason for choosing this resort and the staff at the shop and on the boats were absolutely amazing and so much fun to be with. Tao at the excursion desk was great too. He found us an excursion that included all the activities the group wanted to do with out breaking the bank. The downside to our stay was the customer service of the front desk. They lacked basic customer service skills or simply did not care to even try to make guests happy. When there was a problem they had no desire to provide a solution or resolve the concern and when pushed they had a lack of follow through. Another minor inconvenience was they made it next to impossible to make dinner reservations (don’t even waste your time trying if you have a large party) and they would move were the buffet was without any notice. There beach area was small but that was unavoidable due to the last hurricane. So all in all this resort was a good value for the money and we would likely return but not with a large group.

Summary: The food was always fresh and wasn't totally the same every day. The pool was always clean. Waiters and waitresses were active. I didn't like that you had to wait until 11:00 to get a beer.

Summary: Only negative is the check in process, have to stand in heat with no welcome cocktail. Making dinner reservations was a hassle with Ms. Baza but grounds are gorgeous, food was great and the staff was awesome especially Danny Devito, Miguel, Sophia and all the bartenders. Brian at front desk did great job. Room was clean and spacious. The beginning was a rough start but because of the above mentioned and several others definitely turned it around for us! We will be back!

Summary: We liked the layout of the property and we stayed in Building 18. We liked the fact that there are "specialty restaurants" with sit down seating but the food was just okay. Sometimes the buffet dinner was better. We did not like that the scuba shop wanted to charge us $5 per person per day, just for a boat to come pick us up to go scuba dive every day. We felt that was odd since we were guest at the hotel. It would also be nice to get a print out of the weeks buffet theme and evening entertainment, so we could plan our week. We did upgrade to the specialty check in level but was unimpressed with Daniella's personality and charm. I never got my beach towel cards, and she never mentioned booking the specialty restaurants had to be booked with her. Everyone else was wonderful & helpful
