Positive: Comfortable and clean tents with plenty of room. Very close to a beautiful beach and also town for supermarket and other conveniences. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. Owners are friendly and helpful.

Positive: I can’t say enough about how great the property owner is! She worked so hard to make the property comfortable, and is constantly putting in upgrades. The tents are also pretty comfortable and clean, stocked with a few books, a board game, and a towel if you forgot your own.

Negative: The ONLY downside is the lack of air conditioning and electricity in the tents and bathrooms. There are small fans and solar power banks available but they can only be so helpful. The tents get very hot during the day and trap humidity, making it a bit difficult to escape the sun and heat comfortably. However, they were installing electricity while I was there so this may be updated soon!

Summary: Best budget option and fantastic for getting immersed in the nature.

Positive: Very close to my destination, the Laie LDS Temple

Negative: No drinking water (unless it was in the cooler which I didn't use.) Also, no lables on the soap dispensers in the shower, so I didn't know which to use for shampoo, or to soap down, or to condition my hair...

Summary: I would recommend it for people who don't mind a tent.

Positive: The tent itself is cozy. Bed is really nice and comfortable, slept surprisingly well. Would advise eye mask and earplugs for good sleep as it gets bright early and people might be driving cars with their lights (and loud motors) on while you sleep. The host prepares you well by warning you that it’s the outdoors and it won’t be a « hotel »-like stay, so our expectations for comfort were not high. However, arriving at the tent we were quite pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort offered. There was a water dispenser which wasn’t advertised, shampoo and body wash in the showers and a USB 3.0 portable charger in the tent for charging necessities.

Negative: The tent was great, but the whole toilet/shower situation is basic, very small and does not match the vibe and quality of the tent. The installation gives a feeling it’s temporary and cheap. I understand it’s not a hotel, but given the price we paid, I’d expect something less rugged. Strongly recommend the host to install something to hang your clothes/towels in the bathroom and in the tent. The bathroom is so small you need to curl up your clothes and towel on the toilet seat and hope it doesn’t touch the wet, grassy and sometimes insect-y floor. As for the tent, since you can’t leave things outside to dry overnight, it’d be nice to have something to hang your stuff inside. PS: wifi wouldn’t hurt as we come from outside the US and we then had to get an e-sim…
