Summary: Loved the comfy beds, chocolates on the pillow, and new clean furniture. The face masks were a great touch! Loved the pool, spent lots of time in our own private little cabana. Super close to the PCC!

Summary: “The Courtyard Review: Laie Edition” This is by far the best Courtyard I have ever stayed in. You will be happy to know, that upon arrival, everything was clean and fresh. Floors were sparkling, the walls were nicely painted and the decor was updated. The staff (Kanna) was pleasant and welcomed me with a box of chocolates. I got my key card and headed down the hallway. This is a weird pet peeve of mine, but I get so bugged when hotel carpets in the hallway are dirty. These were NOT. They were very clean and the carpet design was lovely. I opened the door with the keycard and it worked without a problem. Such a plus. The room was perfect. Everything was clean and the beds were welcoming and comfortable. I was on the first floor with a view of the beautiful pool. The bathroom was an excellent size. It looked great and had no wear and tear from the island or guests. Super fresh. If I were Goldilocks, I would’ve sighed and said, “This is just right.” The grounds: Very well maintained. Palm trees were perfectly placed against the well thought out height of the building. Another sigh of “Just right.” I took advantage of the pool in the evening. MAGICAL. I soaked in the hot tub and chatted with guests. When done, I rested on a cabana lounge facing a crescent moon on a black canvas of sky, masterfully framed by two palm trees. Somebody pinch me. I must be dreaming. But it was real … and it was glorious.

Summary: First-time visiting Oahu and we were super excited to stay here because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately, during our stay, we had to evacuate due to a tsunami warning. I’m not sure if this is standard protocol, but we received no guidance whatsoever—only a printed notice slipped under our door with a blurry map of evacuation zones that hadn’t been updated since 2022. The hotel is located in a red zone, and in my opinion, they should have provided guests with clearer information and better resources, especially in such a stressful situation for visitors unfamiliar with the area. Food options on-site are also very limited, with everything around—including their bistro—closing quite early. Additionally, on our second day, after a long day at the beach, we returned to find that our room keys had been deactivated, even though we still had several days left in our stay. We had to walk all the way back to the front desk to have them reactivated, which was frustrating and inconvenient.

Summary: The check-in process was amazing and fast. The hotel itself is breathtaking and very family oriented which I love. They have so many activities to keep the kids busy & occupied. We loved the food, service , staff and the beds are comfortable. The scenery is just beautiful driving to this hotel and the beach is right across the street, you can’t go wrong.

Summary: Clean hotel rooms, excellent, reasonably priced hotel for staying near the North Shore, especially after a day at Polynesian Cultural Center. Easy 5 min walk after a long day back to the hotel.
