Positive: Lots of choice for breakfast buffet. I also love the traditional style of rooms.

Negative: I couldn’t access the onsen because of my tattoos.

Summary: It is great for a couple of days stay. A shame that you cannot enter the onsen if you have tattoos.

Positive: Hotel is huge! and our room and dinner were great - our (non Japanese) first experience in having tatami facility within our room plus the eating of Japanese buffet; the spread was great esp with the sushi & steak. Parking (we had 3 cars) was very convenient, right in front of the hotel for easy drop off/pick up - the hotel staff helped a lot in directing us.

Negative: Cant recall any coz overall experience (check-in, parking, food and room facilities) had been very good.

Summary: A very nice place to spend/rest one night (enroute to other parts of Hokkaido).

Positive: The environment is really nice and relaxing. I love the overall setting of the hotel, and they even have shows at night during our stay, which was a lovely touch. They provide onsite kimonos and seeing everyone wear them during dinner time was super cute! I also loved that the onsen wasn’t as crowded as I expected, which made the experience even more enjoyable

Negative: I also love that they provide both breakfast and dinner. However, the menu is the same every day, so it can get a bit repetitive. Overall, I would give their breakfast and dinner around a 6/10. The room is a little old, but it’s still acceptable and comfortable for the stay, One thing to note is that the hotel is very close to the onsen area, so if you open the door or window, there might be a strong sulfur smell, a bit like rotten eggs

Summary: Overall, it was a relaxing stay with a lovely atmosphere and onsen experience, despite a few small drawbacks.

Positive: The hotel location is near Hell's Valley, which is what most tourists come to see. There are several onsens available which are quite large. Some parking lots are available near the hotel. There is a buffet breakfast and dinner available with many food varieties. If you choose the traditional room style, a staff member comes to help you prepare the futon so there are no problems doing it on your own.

Negative: When arriving at night by car, it might be hard to find the parking lot for the hotel as it is dark. Besides this, everything else was fine.

Positive: Japanese style is the leading word, very nice building and larges traditional rooms, tatami, futon, kimonos. At the last floor traditional onsen. Very nice first expericence in context as renowned thermal place.

Negative: The shop close early. This gigantic hall and lounge has to be more animated.
