Positive: Friendly staff. Easily to get too and private. Lovely soaps and shampoo and complimentary drinks (fridge was warm) but we weren't bothered by that and was just happy to have the free coffees and soft drinks.

Negative: There may have been a problem with the fridge, but other than that everything was excellent

Positive: Great location very easy to get to all hot spots via walking, bus or tram. Staff were very friendly and helpful fantastic hosts. Very comfortable bed.

Negative: Could be noisy at nights due to thin walls & ceiling.

Positive: Our room was a reasonable size, but we were out all day and only used it for sleeping. We liked the fridge so we could have breakfast in our room. En suite was very good, heating adjustable to our requirements, window opened for fresh air.

Negative: I asked for a canal view room which was great, but hadn't realised that the hotel is next to a main road and therefore the room was fairly noisy all night. We stayed 3 nights and towels were changed every day which seems excessive to us (thinking of the planet).

Summary: Loved exploring Amsterdam and the hotel is in a handy spot for walking or using the trams
