Positive: Spacious rooms/friendly/helpful staff (especially Solomon, the manager). Not a typical hotel setup, small reception/leisure area with drinks/breakfast. Good location, 15 min walk from central square.

Negative: Sound proofing not great, could hear guests move around/talk, if you are a good sleeper/or have quiet neighbours it will be fine. The bed/mattress wasn’t comfy, no extra pillows/blankets in room

Summary: The expression’it does what it says on the tin’ is appropriate, but in a very friendly, helpful way, Iwould stay again.

Positive: Plenty of space in the hotel room. Big bed and was cleaned each day. Location was good. Tram right outside brought us all over Amsterdam

Negative: The room was so cold! We Had to turn on the electric heater each time we got home as the room was freezing.
