Positive: Lovely home in a great location for exploring the surrounding area, and there are some lovely trails that are accessible from the house directly. The owners were also very friendly and helpful and returned a book I left behind very quickly! We had a really nice stay overall and would fully recommend.

Positive: Exceptionally accommodating host. We really enjoyed our stay in the spacious and comfortable Carn House, with lots of room in the garden for an active pet. A wonderfully quiet location bursting with possibilities even in winter. The local facilities on the estate were tremendously varied and in excellent condition. We are also converts to disc golf, which is played in a magical wood. Great local historical walks and with all the estate possibilities at hand and those in Inverness, a short break was not long enough to do it justice. Many thanks.

Negative: Booking.com were hopeless. Thankfully the owner more than made up for that.

Summary: Tremendously varied and enjoyable few days in a quiet, comfy setting with lots of fun activities.
