Summary: House is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Parking for two vehicles behind the house so you don’t have to parallel park on busy street. Beautiful front glass door but unnerving that folks walking down street can see into living room of house.

Summary: Wife and I were driving down to FL for the week but wanted to stay somewhere else for a bit first and decided on Beaufort. This house was very convenient for walking to the downtown area and roads out of town. The house is filled with antiques and paintings that were very enjoyable to look at. Would stay again.

Summary: While the house is attractive on the surface, a closer look revealed a house in need of some attention. While the upstairs bathroom was almost glamorous, the downstairs bathroom needed some repair. It was quite cold while we were there, which had been forecasted. The living room was in the 50's - a little too chilly. Throw blankets and space heaters were provided once we complained. The furnace was working overtime (a filter issue?). There is a fireplace, with a clicker on the mantle, but alas, we were told it didn't work. There was only one place total to hang clothes (an armoire in a first floor bedroom) and the hangers were discards from stores, with the little plastic size tag. The kitchen offered salt, pepper and some Keurig cups. The exhaust fan above the stove was missing a screen. Trash under my bed. Long story short, on first glance it seemed nice, but a closer look revealed a home in need of some attention.

Summary: Location is great. Short and safe walk to downtown. Home is beautifully decorated with antiques and is warm, cozy, and inviting. Beds were comfortable,cand it was grea having 2 bathrooms. The cleaning crew could have done better before our visit. There were dishes in the sink, leaves and debris under the couch, trash under nightstand,and furniture on the porches were filthy. One of the main reasons for choosing this home was the porches. They definitely weren't inviting. I would still recommend this charming home and would stay here again.

Summary: Check-in and parking were a breeze. The few times we had to contact owner/property manager, the responded in a few minutes and resolved our issue. Guest may want to bring small fans for the bedrooms. The windows do not open. May also want to bring coffee pods since there isn’t a traditional coffee maker.
