Positive: Lovely family owned property! The family is so sweet and helpful and will go above and beyond to help you. We only stayed one night, but they offered us their family bike to use for free and we also had food here for dinner. Big portion and good price. They gave us tea and some snacks on arrival. Breakfast was also filling and varied. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable- the best sleep we have had in Flores! They gave us an extra duvet as it can get cold in the night which was very thoughtful. There is a tiny shop across the road which you can get some snacks in. Highly recommend staying if you are in Ruteng.

Positive: One of our most pleasant stays in Flores. Everyone from the family is very warm and welcoming. It is a humble house and a very loved one. What made the stay stand out was given the shared nature of the space, small spontaneous interactions would always be occurring. This could lead to interesting and fun conversations or even trying some local Indonesian snacks. Tea, coffee and drinking water freely available. Their kitchen is also your kitchen along with letting us use their fridge too. Scooter rental is available at a good price. The scooter and helmets are well maintained. They can also help you book transport to your next destination as they helped us book the 7am bus to Bajawa. On top of that, they even woke up extra early to prepare us breakfast which was totally unexpected. The mum even noticed our empty food container so she decided to cook us some delicious nasi goreng for the bus ride. It’s a small thing, but made a world of difference for the long journey. Would highly recommend staying here, even if you’re just passing through! You won’t regret it.

The owner was kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed, which made me feel right at home. One of the great conveniences offered was motorbike rental, which made exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also excellent close to many attractions, restaurants, and local shops, making it a perfect base for anyone visiting the area. Overall, I highly recommend Natalia Homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable, well located place to stay with warm and helpful hosts. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
