Positive: Excellent location directly next to the Cumbres&Toltec Railroad, independently operated by very friendly owners, good price, large rooms with fridge and microwave - and excellent breakfast burritos at the café next door (thanks for the hint)

Positive: This motel is an ideal for railfans. It's five minutes walk to the rail yard to hop on for a train (Cumbres and Toltec) ride.

Negative: It needs alot of work repair. They were hit very hard during covid pandemic. It's still a best location for railfans.

Summary: I'm hoping in the future motel will improve to attract railfans.

Positive: Motel managers were exceptional dealing with problems: friendly, courteous, fast!

Negative: Property is in extreme need of a makeover: room came with a non-functioning tv (manager fixed), and clogged, slow draining sink (manager fixed). No electrical plug in bathroom. Door to room scratched, beat up, in acute need of a paint job! Only room I've ever stayed in where the microwave was larger than the TV!

Summary: We were in Antonito to ride the Chama Toltec train, and proximity to train station was great.
