Positive: Location to restaurants and train station. Large size of rooms. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The refrigerator worked well and kitchenette had all we needed.
Negative: Cracked tiles on bathroom floor. No window in sleeping area.

Positive: Location good for the Toltec & Cumbres steam train station. Very peasant owners once we could find him.
Negative: Bathroom really small but it was ok just for the 2 nights. Shower not clean in corners, and the floor of shower has duck tape over the cracks.! TV not suited to Dish TV - picture too big for TV (Settings) Airconditioner in the window needs to be re-sealed, lots of wind coming through in the night. The breakfast room was totally inadequate, and the cereals plus lots of items needed to be restocked. Either offer breakfast and have stock or not at all. No water in the coffee machine, had to use the tap water from bedroom. Tiny sized coffee cups.
Summary: A pleasant stay. I would upgrade next time if we need to book there.

Positive: The staff was very nice. The room was very spacious. Nice history of this building.
Negative: Breakfast could have been better. There were no coffee cups, no napkins. There was very little offered that didn't include sugar and no decaf options whether it was tea or coffee. The first morning, the help apparently brought some breakfast type sandwiches, but they were not placed out for consumption until after 7:45 a.m. By then half of the guests were gone for the day. That didn't exist the morning we left either. We just grabbed coffee in the next town.

Positive: I asked the guy who let us in if the Mexican restaurant across the street was good, and he said that it's where he goes, which is good enough for me. The food was good, it more than met my expectations in a town with 2 or maybe 3 places to choose from. The location couldn't be better, it's within walking distance to good food, at least 1 bar, and I think 2 dispensaries if that's your jam.
Negative: The room itself was a hodgepodge of furniture, but what can you expect, it's the back room of a 1911 train station, not a Hilton. You stay here for the history, not the luxury. That being said, the coffee maker was very disappointing, it looked old and cheap. I chose to drive less than a mile away to the nearest convenience store. Which had plenty of hot coffee and very good breakfast burritos that myself and many locals were snapping up.
Summary: A charming, not luxurious stay in a historic rail station. Met my expectations, recommend.

Positive: This hotel has a great rustic esthetic, large rooms with kitchens and bathrooms feels more of a studio apartment then a hotel room, the added bonus of a pool table room and a deck overlooking the area just made it that much better and it is located directly across the street from the Dutch Mill restraunt which has some amazing food. There are also a few shops and quick stop stores nearby so it is very centrally located to anything you may want or need.
Negative: The hotel is slightly run down but for where it is located and how old it is I believe that brings in some of the appeal with how rustic it actually is.

Positive: I've never left a vacation and felt like I was on one before this stay. An older building, so the floors creak, especially when you're my size. Sorry downstairs neighbors. Very friendly. They also had my favorite store bought drip coffee.
Negative: I didn't have a great view. But when the bed is that comfortable and your goal is definitively R&R. The window was fine for a little added, but not direct sunlight. So you could say the bad was really a good
