Summary: Clean room comfy bed heat was not efficient.

Summary: Perfect location. Everything was in walking distance. Fun funky place with a lot of character. Wasn’t a fan of the steps but the deck was great. Nice hot steamy shower and the bed was comfy though could have used a couple more pillows. The breakfast choices were lacking but there’s a great place right across the street.

Summary: We had a king size bed. There was barely room to walk around the bed. If I wanted to get into the bathroom, my wife would have to move away from the bed so I could get past to the bathroom. Nowhere to put things when at the bathroom sink, no shelf. Water leaked all around the shower door. We used the shower mat to mop up the floor, then let it drip dry in the shower. We paid for 2 nights. We left without even requesting any kind of refund after the 1st night. The top of the fridge was dirty, which would have been a VERY easy wipe to clean. This made me wonder about just how clean this place was. I had nightmares about what we would be taking home with us from here. It wasn't what I expected for a historical hotel. There is no common door into the hotel, like most facilities of this nature. We went to the restaurant below and asked where the door to the hotel was. The waiter called the hotel owner to let them know we were there. You use this method, or you call the hotel number, and they come to meet you and take you to your room. The window air conditioner was VERY noisy. We finally turned it off and opened a window after the sun went down.

Summary: The host was so welcoming! Room very clean; exceeded our expectations!

Summary: The breakfast area only had one table seating for three people only. Otherwise, you had to sit on a sofa. There were various options for breakfast in the shared refrigerator/freezer; all was self-catering including making your own coffee maker. The room was too small for a king-size bed and the bathroom floor could have been cleaner (dirt on floor behind the door). The owner was only available via text or phone call (lived off the premises).

Summary: Staff was willing to make adjustment for my girlfriends disabilities , which made the trip much easier !

Summary: This is not your steel and plastic holiday inn. It is a step back in time! It is clean, quaint, western inn. Paul, the owner, is a native Antonnian, is very nice, doing whatever he can to make tor stay enjoyable. A nice, small deck area is available. Paul will make a recommendation about restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!!

Summary: There were two restaurants within a minute walk. A nice deck to sit on, a common area with a pool table. Lots of historic memorabilia. Close to the train station.
Keith Oct 5, 2025 07:10:00 AM
Summary: The host was very pleasant and nice but the building has seen better days. Electric outlet next to sink broken. Whoever painted the walls got most of the paint on the ceiling. Bad water stains on one ceiling, paint in other areas peeling. I stayed at numerous hotels on a cross country trip and paid more than half as much for much better conditions. I would not go there again.

Summary: When we arrived we had to call a number on the door of the restaurant in order to get the manager. He did show up quickly. This is not handicap accessible. The area around the hotel was a bit shady. We quickly realized there was no one on the street. Antonito is like a ghost town. The room was small for a king bed. The bed was comfortable and a bit noisy the night we stayed. The restaurant smells from the first floor permeated the room. If you’re staying there to ride the Cumbre Toltec railroad it is a killer location. Won’t stay there again. We’ll drive the 40 min back to Alamosa.
