Positive: Kien and his mother are outstanding hosts. Kien insisted on picking us up from the station after a night on the bus from Hanoi and it was such a relief! The house is spacious, very nicely designed, clean and with all the facilities you need: a well equipped kitchen, extra fridges on the upper floors, spaces to sit together and have tea/coffee, clean bathrooms and our room had a very large comfortable bed and plenty of space for our luggage. Communication was absolutely impeccable: Kien checked in with us beforehand and we kept chatting on WhatsApp during the stay when something came up. We could communicate with Kien's mother flawlessly using a translation app. She was so welcoming, caring, forthcoming and warm, it was an absolute pleasure. The most outstanding thing was that she managed to wash and dry our laundry within 12 hours, which was an absolute blessing for two sweaty European backpackers in the got and rainy Vietnamese weather. Thank you to both of you! We'd recommend the Homestay to anyone at any time!

Positive: Location is great, rooms are really clean and new, shared bathrooms clean and new, price is great. And the staff are really lovely! They hired me out a small scooter to explore around town, and did a load of laundry for me.

Positive: Muong Thanh is a very nice quiet homestay. The owner Kien is very helpful, very discreet but swift to replying to our questions. He is very helpful. He hired a taxi to go to Giap's place 25km away, and a bus to go to Moc Chau. He even took us to the bis pick up ! The homestay is very clean, nicely located in the middle of all sightseeings in town. We arrived very early from Lao Cai at 5am in the morning and he opened his house for us. Our standard room was nice with a bathroom by the side and a small terrasse with a laundry machine at our disposal. Downstairs large sitting area and a vast open kitchen also at the disposal of guests. We highly recommend Kien's place. We had a very good stay.

Positive: Check-in was easy and the people I saw were lovely. The property is on a quiet street and the facilities are modern and clean. Thanks again for your flexibility at check-out. They are very accomodating and although I was the only guest there at the time I’m grateful they upgraded me to a larger room. It was stress free and perfect for my needs. Thanks!

Positive: The whole property was immaculate. The living area and kitchen were fantastic. Our hosts were so helpful and welcoming. He took care of booking our sleeper bus which was a huge help. The dog was an added bonus and made us feel really homely (we miss our dog at home!)

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Fabulous accommodation and hosts! Highly recommend.
