Step in to this beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 bath cabin bordering San Juan National Forest on 2 sides with large covered porch. Stunning Views. Able to hike or ride a short distance off the property directly to the Boggy Draw Trail System. 3 miles to downtown Dolores. Centrally located to some of the most beautiful areas in SW Colorado like Mesa Verde, Durango & Telluride. Minutes from world-class hiking, biking & horse trails such as Phils World & Sand Canyon. House is situated in big pines with open eastern & southern exposure. Located at the end of a private lane, thus no through traffic, very private, no noise, other than the whispering pines and wildlife sounds. Master suite with log king-size bed and adjoining master bath. 2 separate bedrooms, both with log twin over queen bunk beds. Open floor plan, living room with large sectional sofa with queen size sleeping, farmhouse log kitchen table, large kitchen with nook on the other side of the kitchen with queen size pull out sofa, privacy screen. Mud room with full-size washer and dryer. Wi-Fi is provided along with antenna tv. But believe me, you won’t want to sit indoors and watch TV there are too many things to do in the forest because it’s just right outside the door. Relaxing rustic firepit located on the property to sit next to in the beautiful evening air and roast marshmallows.

Summary: Great place to stay, isolated enough so you could enjoy the outdoors but close enough to Dolores when you needed something in town. Accomodarions were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the outside firepit each night. Kitchen was functional but could use a few more common utensils. Would come back if we are passing through this area again.

Summary: From the wind blowing through the trees to all the stars in the sky this place is a perfect get away from all the noise of the city. Nice spacious house with very comfortable furniture in all rooms. There is a trailhead just down the road that will take you to several trails---check out the maps in the dining room. Our pups loved the large patio. The pups down the road are friendly. Be sure to visit Dolores River Brewery---great patio, and Montezuma Mexican Restaurant---seats by the river.

Summary: Just for your information you have mice. We had them run across the kitchen counter. You also have a chipmunk living in the dryer vent. We could not get him out.

Summary: Great place to stay! Nice, clean cabin nestled in the trees. Easy access to town/stores, easy check in and checkout via online. Most everything provided, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, trash bags, towels, kitchen accessories, bring your own hygiene items, only one small hotel size shampoo and conditioner and there was a container on the wall for bath soap but nothing in it. Most everyone brings their own anyway. There was a s’mores kit supplied for us to make at the outside fire pit which was a lot of fun even the hangers to roast marshmallows. Just a great place to stay! Highly recommended!

Summary: Absolutely beautiful. We drove 8 hours from South West Arizona where we don't get snow at all. Every year we try and find a place to have a white Christmas and this year not only did my family get a white Christmas but also had their own space to relax. My son and his family drove in from Colorado Springs and said it felt like home. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Everything was perfect.
