LOCATION : A traditional, yet unique, two bedroom/one bathroom, single story home 🏡with covered/private parking and a spacious fenced in back yard.
Centrally located for day trips to Mesa Verde National Park (13 miles), Canyon of the Ancients (11 miles), Crow Canyon (5 miles), Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (45 miles), Telluride ski resort (73 miles), the Four Corners Monument (40 miles), and Moab, UT (115 miles).
Just a short walk from downtown Cortez, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, parks with tennis and pickle ball courts, cultural center and recreational center, this bungalow-style home offers a quaint and comfortable home away from home as you explore the high desert plains of southwest Colorado.
NOTE: The homeowners live in the Cortez area and are readily available to ensure your stay is convenient and enjoyable
PETS: Dogs welcome (with an additional pet fee of $50.00). Encouraged to crate pets if leaving alone in house. Crates provided by request. Required to pick up after your pets in the back yard by the end of your stay. Do not leave your pets alone in the back yard if you are leaving the home.

Summary: I wish I could give this home more stars! I have rented many homes and this was perfect. The house is small but well laid out with two comfortable bedrooms. The decor is very nice. The owners have obviously spent a lot of time thinking of everything. Check in/out directions were simple, there were signs in the home explaining everything. It was clean and well equipped with dishes, essentials, etc. I wish I could have stayed longer. I can't say enough about this home and these very thoughtful owners.

Summary: When we first saw the house we were not impressed as it was on the corner of a fairly busy street. However, once we opened the front door, we were amazed of the cleanliness and the cozy feeling. It was one of the best places we have stayed at through VRBO. Communication with the owner was great. The house had all the amenities you could want and had extra toilettries in case you forgot something or ran out.

Summary: We were in town for a mountain bike race and a tour of the National Park. The place is near main street and only 10 minutes from the park entrance, well kept and stocked with all the essential items. You can tell the owners truly care about the renters. Only half our family was planning on staying as the other half was supposed to camp at the race campsite, but the place was too roomy and accommodating. We had to all take advantage of the location except for the night before the race.

Summary: We are repeat renters so that speaks for itself. This rental is well furnished - kitchen has anything you might need, bathroom has toiletries (including toothbrush I forgot;), and the king bed was comfortable. Our dog loves the back yard and hanging out on the front porch with her dog bed. Location walkable to Montezuma Ave.and town
