Summary: Beautiful hotel with great restaurant options on site. Tamika at the front desk was super nice, professional and so helpful! She even remembered my name when I checked out. Food and drinks at hotel restaurants were excellent. Expansive hotel and beautifully decorated. We loved it!

Summary: We had many many glitches along the way including needing to change one of our rooms. Very annoying…. But the staff was amazing and really helpful the whole way through. The grounds are magical in the summer. Downtown is a quick 10min walk or $10pp horse ride down. Spa was relaxing!

Summary: The location is great. The hotel could use some work. The cleanliness and up keep were lacking. We also couldn’t use the hot tub because there wasn’t enough water. For the cost it wasn’t ideal.

Summary: The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had a nice setup. However, the air conditioning was a big issue during my stay. The unit was extremely loud, ran constantly through the night, and unfortunately didn’t cool the room at all. It made it difficult to sleep and really took away from what could have been a great stay. The front desk stated that every room had these portable air conditioners. I will not be back.

Summary: Everyone is super nice and friendly and the road to Mission Point is spectacular tree lined path & flowers ! We brought our bikes, so we hopped on & rode right there - but there's a horse taxi to take you there as well. Many places to dine right on the property & even a little place to play put put golf. There are chairs on the lawn to relax in at the end of the day. The whole Mackinac Island experience was spectacular - we can't wait to come back !! PS. Reservations include the luggage transfer right there too - so you can enjoy your day right as you arrive !

Summary: Pool was frigid! My kids thought Lake Huron was warmer. It was hard to get in. The two hot tubs only held 4 people. It would be nice if spot to sit outside by rooms instead of having to walk all way down. It seemed like missed opportunity to have yard games- bags, bocce, croquet etc. Not many classes actually offered during wk for kids and families. We ran out of things to do there. Was often a 20 minute wait to get coffee in morning at Boxwood. No place to fill water bottles on site. It would be nice if ventilation in bathrooms. Not a lot of bike options for kids- had a hard time finding ones right size for my kids. On cold, rainy days it would be nice if they could have turned on fire places in lobby when guests played games there.

Summary: The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and beds were comfortable. The only area for improvement was the food. The food from the restaurant on the premises was served dried out and was difficult to chew, and the baristas at the cafe struggled to make a simple cup of coffee.

Summary: Dog and family friendly yet very clean and comfortable. They made our stay very easy and enjoyable. From views of Lake Huron with the vast lush green lawn in an Adirondack chair to the cozy outdoor dining spaces with my black lab at my side all the way, we enjoyed every minute. Easy access to town, trails and the ferry as well!
