Positive: The location and position of this property is its best feature, along with some very helpful staff. I was leaving town late afternoon and they looked after my luggage, and permitted me to have a shower to freshen up upon request. They also helped me with a taxi booking to the Gujo Interchange to catch the highway bus.

Negative: The style is a little dated, but it actually added to the charm of the whole Ryokan experience.

Positive: It was our first time in traditional ryokan and we loved it! We loved the room and sleeping on tatami matresses. The location next to river was so beautiful and relaxing! Owner was very nice and we were able to communicate regardless of the language barrier. They also let us to storage our bags after check-out. I would love to visit Miharaya again!
