Positive: Masa-san was an amazing host. Helpful with our late check-in and recommendations for the local area. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. It is a traditional house so rooms had tatami and futons. Restaurants and stores were within walking distance and there was parking close by. We will be back.

Negative: The rooms were a little cold for winter, but plenty of heaters were provided.

Summary: Amazing stay for a getaway to the snow.

Positive: What didn't I like! Honestly, it's one of the greatest spots and places I've stayed in Japan. Throws you back to a family house you never had with all the nostalgia of how i imagine weekends away were as a child at grandparents or aunts. The location, township, and people, especially our host, were nothing short of amazing

Positive: We had an amazing time in Gujo Hachiman! This house was incredible - the reviews do not lie. Masa was the most welcoming host and may be one of the kindest people we have ever met. If you are thinking of booking the Nomad Inn, just do it! You will have a lovely and peaceful time in Gujo Hachiman just like us.
