Furnished with new and original mid-century modern furniture. An easy walk through a redwood grove and along the creek to charming downtown Mill Valley, with its vintage movie house, boutiques, cafes and coffee shops, the grocery store, high-end and casual restaurants, and live music and theater venues like the historic Sweetwater Music Hall and 142 Throckmorton.

Many hikes and trails are nearby, nearby parks include Old Mill Park, Blithedale Park. A very nice community pool with huge water slide, jacuzzi and sun decks is five minutes away.

Please Note: On premises parking available for three cars, very important in Marin. Also important is easy access (including stairs) to the house from the street, with two entrances including one across a bridge over a charming natural stream.

Summary: Everything was perfect. The house provides everything one needs, and then some. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable. My family could not stop exclaiming about the high-quality mid-century modern design and decor--stunning. The photos do not do justice to this rental. Highly recommend!

From the beauty of the location; the flow and ambience of each of the rooms; the well-stocked kitchen (appliances and condiments), bathrooms and even the laundry room— we could not have had a more perfect week. And oh—the QUIET (and visit by a red-shouldered hawk!)

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, and I must say that the pictures do not do it justice. We loved the many MCM/vintage pieces. It's also in a great location in a lovely neighborhood. We will definitely look to rent this home again whenever we return to the Mill Valley area.

Summary: Our family of four adults headed to Mill Valley for a Celebration of Life for a friend who had lived just a short distance from this rental. We'd visited him from the East coast before and knew just how special MV is. The area is so soothing and relaxing...and this home takes full advantage of the natural surroundings and peaceful environment. Big windows let in dappled sunlight filtered by towering trees. It has everything you could want from an unbelievably well stocked kitchen to a variety of bathroom products I'd never seen provided in other rentals. The artwork and decorative items are amazing. The short easy walk into town makes it the perfect place to get a special cup of coffee in the morning or a delicious dinner in the evening without having to get in the car. But if you do have a car, there is off street parking right in front of the home...not something you'd find at many rentals in the area. If you don't do stairs, this might not be the home or town for you. They are everywhere! The property manager is a delight to deal with and communication is incredibly easy. I've already shared the link with friends who are planning a northern California get away! It's an A+ rental.

Summary: This home is beautiful, stylish, comfortable and fun! We enjoyed feeling right at home while visiting our son and granddaughter in Belvedere. The artwork is a treat. Adrienne is an amazing concierge - very responsive and helpful with suggestions. The kitchen and house have everything you could possibly need. We're in our 70s but the two flights of stairs (with handrail) from the car to lower entrance were not a problem. Downtown Mill Valley is a short, level walk. Supermarkets are a short drive. We visited the city of SF twice where we strolled through the Union Square district, enjoyed SFMOMA, Pier 39, Aquarium of the Bay and had a superb dinner at Michelin-star Mr. Jiu's in Chinatown. Took a walk through Mill Valley's Bayfront Park. Wineries are an easy drive including Flowers in Healdsburg and Bogle in Clarksburg. We would love to stay here again. Thank you, Adrienne!

Summary: This was the perfect house for us as we returned to Mill Valley for our first visit since we moved away five years ago. We enjoyed relaxing each evening after visiting old friends, sites and restaurants. It truly felt like we were living in a treehouse. With luxurious amenities.
