Positive: The host speaks great English and was very friendly with chats, upon my arrival he showed me and another guest spots around the area such as restaurants and activities to do further up in Nikko. The host also took extra care in preparing breakfast to fit my Halal needs. Breakfast itself was light but delicous. After check-in, beds are on a first come, first serve basis. Theres a socket at the head of the bed for charging and comes with a small LED light, and the bed itself was super comfortable. Facilities such as shower rooms, toilets and dining/lounge area were clean and well kept. There are lockers with locks to store your valuables. Key point of the place is it's very close proximity to Kegon Falls. I was blessed with such a sunny day to view it's magnificent glory early in the morning before starting my hike.

Negative: Can get quite cold at night in cooler seasons, come prepared.

Positive: Had an amazing night here, kind host who will tell you about the best onsen and helpful tips. Renting the bike for free to explore the lake was great and I enjoyed the sweet potato breakfast. Would definitely stay again !

Positive: Great breakfast, owner is very nice and can give good directions, met some nice people, you can walk to Kegon falls whenever you like in a couple of minutes. Lots of restaurants nearby. Free parking.

Positive: The owner Mr. Makoto was so nice, he knew the area so well and gave us so much ideas on which thing should go first, answered to every need🫡. Location was excellent, breakfast was unbeatable😘. He let us to use the washing machine as our outfits were spoiled after climbing the Mt. Nantai😆. Very good value of money👍. He also provides transport and sightseeing guiding services on request if he has the time😊. We stayed there for two nights, he served all the guests with his secret recipes of sweet potato and local salad from his backyard☺️. This is a MEN only B&B, I booked this in mistake as I travelled with my husband, so I contacted the owner at once. After communication and his understanding, the owner arranged a side room for us, which made us so grateful.

Positive: The owner welcomed me with a creamy sweet potato beverage, showed me all the main attractions of the place, and knew so many different languages. He traveled the world, and also offered for a very low price a guided tour of amazing attractions. We even went to a free footbath that is directly fed by volcanic water.
