Negative: I personally don't like air-conditioning and would of preferred to open the doors to the balcony but apparently we can't as the building "sweats".

Positive: Always a nice stay. Definitely the better choice of accommodation in Mackay. The rooms haven't changed though in 15 years and could do with a revamp. However standard of the room, cleanliness and amenities is great .

Negative: Used to be pod coffee machines in the room that's no longer available. Aircon in lounge area didn't work, the one in bedroom did so that wasn't an issue as it wasn't hot so didn't need both on.

Positive: Breakfast voucher doesn’t really offer a good mix. Meals are oversized But the tea is always hot! Food is tasty. Air con was very cold in downstairs area considering the wind blowing outside.

Negative: The rooms need updating even though we appreciated the view and the size is generous💙 Toilet flush in room 3005 is almost broken No usb outlets Pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress is starting to dip. We have stayed many times and just feel some refreshing would be in order. It’s a great location and staff are very friendly. Bed lights aren’t good for reading
