Summary: If the Mantra are not happy letting Wotif market their rooms cheaper than they charge - dont do it! Simple, there are plenty of other motels that welcome Wotif customers and demonstrate that the customer is important regardless on what the customer has used as a marketing research tool and payment mechanism.

Summary: This was our first time staying at the Mantra Mackay and hopefully it will not be our last. Normally we stay in town near the highway but this time we tried the marina precinct and were very happy with our choice of the Mantra. The staff were friendly and the room was excellent. The bars and restaurants along the waterfront were great. We are looking forward to another visit before too much longer, and hopefully for more than just one night on the way through.
