Positive: Ideal for families or couples. Plenty of room for those in caravans to spread out. My cabin was ample for my requirements - bed, kitchenette and ensuite. Lovely little deck area where I could enjoy my morning coffee in the sun. Pizza van visited one night for piping hot pizzas. Seafood van one morning for fresh prawns as my Mothers Day treat. Located close to Mackay harbour and not too far from down town city area including Canelands shopping centre. Occasionally the road traffic was noisy especially if the local motorcycle lads were testing their bikes out.
Negative: Noisy on occasion. 80km/hour speed limit on access road appeared to invite racing bikes and cars.
Summary: Friendly park within easy reach of both the harbour and city areas.

Positive: Our cabin was perfect for our stay. Room was clean and tidy. Had everything we needed to 1 night stop over.
Negative: The entry door - It had glass panels and it was like daylight at first light, so bright.

Positive: Rooms are clean and exactly as you see them online. Staff are extremely friendly and went the extra mile after hours which was really appreciated. Will recommend this place to anyone! Kids had a ball with the jumping pillow, water play area and the pool. Perfect for families.
Negative: Highway noise was atrocious and native birds like scream late at night but these can't be helped and aren't anyone's fault.
