Positive: Stunning location. Staff really lovely and kind. Dormitories great. Relaxed. Food was good.

Negative: Hammock underneath the sleeping area with someone continously smoking and the smoke coming through the floorboards so we could passive smoke. The neighbour behind blaring music in the evening until 9/10pm whilst doing her cleaning - completely destroys the calm and serenity of the place! Some of it was authentic and very pleasant but the volume was ear piercing. No menu or indication of how much things cost. Dinner was 600,000vnd for a family (200,000vnd by a local)

Positive: Everything the location was perfect mai hich is really beautiful and calm, you can have lunch and dinners at the homestay and they’re very good and worth it for the prices. I would recommend this place if you want to relax and explore by bicycle and the staff is lovely !

Positive: The location was absolutely beautiful, on a lovely path that felt like a real community and surrounded by gorgeous mountains and rice fields. They have new mattresses that are so comfy and was lovely waking up and hearing the rain. Ms Thao and her husband were so welcoming and prepared amazing food for breakfast and dinner, and great entertainment on the Friday night of local dances and karaoke. The pool was also a great way to start the day. 10/10 would definitely stay again !

Negative: Nothing, it was perfect.

Summary: Stunningly beautiful, non fussy and amazingly relaxing stay.

Positive: The homestay is in a nice and quiet area, it is as good place to relax. We rented bikes and explored the area. The owners are very kind and helpful. We ate at the homestay and the food was very tasty and portions were large.

Positive: There is a very welcoming atmosphere in Mai Hich Farmstay. It is really nice place to stay and explore around. Owners are very nice and always smiling and also helped with bike rental. All the meals we had were delicious. We enjoyed evening performance with traditional dances that we were also invited to participate. Thank you!

Positive: The staff were incredible, very helpful and kind. The food was also fantastic, they just kept bringing me out more and more amazing food, and it was so cheap which is nice on a backpackers budget! Would 100% recommend, I know I will be back

Positive: The host family are the most hospitable and kind people. Genuinely the most welcoming hosts I've ever met. Thao is an excellent cook too, who makes sure you won't go hungry - sometimes there was too much food for me! The dorm room is spacious and the beds are comfortable, with a mosquito net provided. The location is a beautiful small town, and the accommodation imitates the traditional style of housing in the area. When you consider these things and the price, it is excellent value for money and a worthwhile place to stay.

Negative: I have no complaints - it is fully deserving of a 10. To me this is a plus, but maybe some people will feel the dorm room vibe is more like camping than being in a building. You can feel the fresh air even inside so it is a bit exposed to the elements.
