Positive: The room was nice with local flavor. The ambience, food and the hospitality are exceptional. Breakfast and dinner were different each day and very tasty. There’s a massage place nearby. Lim took care of all our transportation needs.

Positive: Beautiful property with friendly host . Was one of our best stays while in Vietnam and was definitely the best food while we were here . Lim is a great chef and you should definitely eat breakfast and dinner here at the property . Immediately upon booking I was sent a welcome message along with a link to a site that explained all the amenities of the place and gave you ideas of things to do . Lim even helped us before our stay by sending even more info when we asked some questions . Check in and check out was easy and being able to have our laundry washed for us and motorbikes brought to the Homestay was awesome! We loved the small town feel and ended up extending our stay even with no issues by a day . Would recommend here

Positive: Lim's House is simply wonderful. Common spaces and rooms are stunning, built in a traditional way, with amazing cleaniness and materials used. Free bycicles are the best found so far, high quality. Coffee, teas and delicious bananas for free every day and time. Other beverages are available in the fridge for a great additional price. What about Lim? She is a super lovely host l, never being pushy, and after all she is an amazing chef! Every night upon request she cooks super fresh, traditional and delicious meals, using every day only fresh ingredients from local farmers and markets, which are honestly superb. We had the most delicious meals of our trip in Vietnam with no doubts. You will have also complimentary laundry at Lim's House. Lim will also help you with great efficiency and reliability in arranging scooters rental and transport for your next destination. If you look at the website you will find great ideas and tips to explore the province around Mai Châu, where it is recommended to use a scooter to enjoy at the best. However, I strongly suggest to talk to Lim which will give you additional hints and ideas, and you will be able to plan your days and visits at the greatest according to your wishes! Everything is so nice and traditional that you would never leave Lim's House! And after few days you will still miss it!

Positive: The location was a huge plus for us. The charming, plant-filled property is in a quiet, very friendly residential alley off the main road and just outside Lac Village. The open patio area was great for reading, chatting with others, and having endless coffee and tea. Dinner was generous, hugely satisfying and (of course) made with a sampling of local ingredients like fish and mushrooms. Lim's House was a destination in itself—a homestay that beats a hotel experience! If you are wondering whether to extend your stay, do it.
