Negative: Changed the exchange rate to suit them - would not accept card and only wanted dollars in cash which we didn’t have ! Private room had no outside windows

Positive: Great location near all the sights, restaurants and shops. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean at all times and the shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. I had a bedside lamp and a small heater to take the chill away. There is a really nice enclosed common area in the centre where breakfast was served. If people hang out there at night you will be able to hear them in your room. Breakfast was great with coffee and tea, a banana, fresh fruit and orange juice and a selection of options fot the main. I chose the Ham, cheese and egg toasted sandwich and it was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be aware that if you use booking.com you will have to pay in dollars when you arrive. Not a problem, just good to know because of the blue exvhange rate. Change was given in Bolivianos for my small amount.

Positive: Clean, provided a towel, nice breakfast

Negative: Overbooked so asked the guy I was travelling with and I to share my twin room, awkward with payment and gave a very poor exchange rate, no noise protection from courtyard so was woken by a loud group arriving at 3am, charge for shower after checkout as we had gone to the mines

Positive: Great location with everything close by. Staff are very kind. Room was cute but the floors are a bit noisy, I was lucky the ones upstairs slept early. They have a partner they work with that offer tours to the mines.

Negative: The door closes at 11pm so as a smoker, I couldn't go out for a smoke but I supposed with the altitude, I shouldn't anyway.
