"Locky's Nest" is a few short minutes to the stunning Carrickalinga beach but also secluded from the road by established trees & bushes. A great back yard for the kids to run around and play!
This home has a small deck area, a great open plan living, dining and kitchen area for the whole family to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a lovely combustion fire for those cold winter nights and a RCAC for the warm summer days.

Summary: The property was very basic, dated. If you’re looking for a very basic shack style house then this will suit. The yard doesn’t haven’t any grass for the children, it’s all dirt and prickles. The house was very dusty so we slept with all windows open. There also is only aircon in the main lounge. No wifi, no hairdryer, no soap stuff in shower, no towels (you are told to hire linen so just be aware this includes towels but nobody told me this). It is very close to the beach tho. It’s very much, you pay for what you get. We needed up leaving after one night instead of two. Look it’s okay, but nothing special- if you’re just going to sleep there and then go out all day it’s fine for that, but I wouldn’t want to spend hours in there.

Summary: The property was full of mosquitos which resulted in us waking up covered in bites. We were expected to have the dishes cleaned and put away but were not provided with a tea towel! No mat for the shower so the floor was always wet and slippery. Won’t come back here again
