Positive: The room looked out directly onto the most stunning views, it was the most peaceful and beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. You could walk anywhere in Mai Chau from the home stay, there are a handful of shops, restaurants, and massage spas nearby. Do not come to Mai Chau if you want to be busy, it is a town with a very slow pace. The room was basic but comfortable. The staff were helpful if asked but also leave you to yourself if not, which was perfect.

Negative: The shower over the toilet, I will never be a fan of that as everything gets wet.
