Large ground floor house of 200m2, facing south-west, with a plot of 1500m2 minimum, essential comfort.
Ideal for a long stay with family to enjoy sunsets from the terrace, walk to the nearest cove.

A 5 minute drive to the port of Perdika, and 15 minutes drive to the port of Aegina.
15 minutes walk to a small cove where the beach is very beautiful and gently sloping on the sand.
The view of this house is a dream view, from morning to sunset, at all times of the year. That's why David, my sculptor friend built it here. I had even helped to build it in 1976.
The place is extremely quiet, you can go for long walks in the hills, and swim in clear water with a beautiful seascape.
All beds are comfortable, The hostess is very welcoming, and can also serve you good meals.

Summary: Our experience staying here was just perfect. That veranda is breathtaking. The address was a bit difficult for a taxi to find, but after asking around we got it sorted. We are so grateful it worked out. I think its a perfect place to stay for those who are looking for a calm and relaxed place to stay

Summary: We chose this house because we were looking for something special, something unusual and inspirational and after all I have to say that we did not make a mistake. Above all, the house is not just a beautiful accomodation, but it´s also an invitation to personal memory of an artistic family, it´s a pulsing museum of both beautiful artworks and authentic everyday objects, sometimes even made by owners themself. Every room in the house provides a different feeling. There is a big airy double bedroom with an access to a balcony and big library, one light single bedroom also with an access to a balcony, one small single bedroom with feeling of a monk's room and one cozy double bed floor in the up corner of a living room. Because we were a group of seven people, we had also one extra bed which we placed on the roofed terrace, so the lucky one had always a chance to stay closer to subtropic land also during the nightime. The house is equiped by everything one would need and there was always present absolutely amazing owner Maya living just a few meters from our entrance doors. She gave us delicious tzatziki and was always kind and helpful when we asked her for help. The house is quite far from sea, so we were almost always rather going to sea by car, but it's for sure in walking distance. On the other hand, we appreciated a beautiful view from above and closeness to the highest peak of the island, mount Oros, where pilgrims can light a candle and contemplate inside a small chapel and eat together outside at the table while looking at the island from above. Originally we planed to spend more days on the island and to have there quite intense reading afternoons and evenings with classics, but it ended up that we spend there only six days and we were more into resting, easy talks, cooking, drinking wine, sightseeing, swimming and walks. But that's how it goes sometimes. The place fullfiled us with it's specific energy and atmosphere and we are glad that we had a chance to spend there a week of wonder, even though it was more earthy type of wonder then we originally planned. :)
