Lots of room for you to stretch out and enjoy the great location in East Lakeview. Nearby to public transportation including bus stop 1 block, Lakeshore Drive 3 blocks, Red, Brown & Purple line train station 5 blocks. Lake front and beach is only 3 blocks away. There are restaurants, bars, theater and entertainment just 1 block away.
Near Chicago's famous Boystown. You're just a few blocks away from one the country's top rated gay areas.
The building was constructed in 1893 by a banker as a private mansion for his family. The ceilings are high and vaulted and the ambiance of the whole place feels warm with old world charm. We're on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator; so expect to walk up a few flights of stairs.
You'll notice right away that the place is HUGE. 2,300 square feet with a gigantic living room, including a bar with refrigerator, TV and bar stools, city views; perfect for pre-gaming or socializing among your group.
The kitchen has an island to work on or just gather around and talk. All pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, glasses are provided. It also has a Mr. Coffee maker with filters and complementary coffee, sugar and creamer. There is a microwave, stove, oven and bagel toaster too.
There is large dining room with a table that can easily fit 10 guests located just off the kitchen. Almost complete surrounded by windows and southern exposure; the dining room is the perfect breakfast nook to catch the early morning sunlight.
There are 2 private bedrooms with big comfy King Sized beds. Two other bedrooms have 2 Queen Sized bed in each room. There are TV's in all of the bedrooms with streaming content. We provide YouTube TV and you can use your phone apps to broadcast your favorite shows via Chromecast.
In the living room, there are 3 futon couches. These futons fold into full sized beds by just lifting the seats up.
All linens, pillows, towels are provided, so all you need to do is show up.

Electronic locks on the doors makes check-in easy. I'll send you a custom code that will be active during your stay. This code works on the main entry door and the front and back apartment doors.
Free parking for 1 car in the parking lot just south of the building, across the alley. Use parking space #13 and enter the property through the gate, just across the alley.

Summary: We were traveling for a volleyball tournament at Navy Pier—a great, convenient location with plenty of room to share with another family. The rental has everything you need and plenty of space to spread out.

Summary: We loved this location. It was clean and well maintained. I actually thought it looked better in person than in the photos. It is perfect for families or large groups of friends. They provided everything we needed for the stay and it has a full kitchen and washer/dryer. My only regret was that I didn't convince more family to come on our Chicago trip because we had extra room.

Summary: we had a group of 5 adults and a toddler-2 of us needed to work during the day and the WiFi was great!There was ample room to spread out and be away from each other when necessary- however the dining and kitchen areas were nicely updated and allowed us some super family meals. Beds were comfortable in all four bedrooms- and the baths were updated. Be prepared to climb three flights of stairs with your bags-and the parking spot- while convenient, is a pita to use-pretty tight quarters. Good value for the money- I would highly recommend.

Summary: The property was BETTER than advertised! The location and everything you needed was included to make it great. My son "ran" into the owner outside and he was as gracious as can be. I would recommend him and this property to anyone. It was actually a pleasure to stay there.
