Positive: What a welcome that our group of Irish guests got on our arrival last Tuesday. The owner of the house went beyond and above to make sure our stay was comfortable and checked in on us were we okay and did we need anything. The pool table and table tennis was an added bonus with everyone. The house was spotless and had everything we needed Buses into the city were across the road, Shopping center was only a 5 minute walk. So a big thank you and we will definitely return.

Positive: We loved the location of the apartment. Easy access to the buses and so good for shopping opposite at Sainsbury's and Aldi. The apartment had some nice features, entrance area, high ceilings, lounge area. Kitchen well equipped. In terms of the size and location it was ideal but just some of the facilities disappointing.

Negative: The heating didn't work the first night and was freezing. The house never really got warm, when we got in each day we needed the freestanding heaters on straight away which took a while to warm the rooms. It was cold the first night due to the batteries going in the hive which did get fixed on the Saturday but didnt help us Friday night. The TV we couldn't get logged on to work all weekend. A manual or information for both would have been useful but we couldn't find anything. There was only one ping pong paddle, stated there were games we only found 1, no electronic games that we could find which were stated on the facilties. There were no Toiletries as stated in the bathrooms only hand washing soap on sinks. Only one towel given per person. The fan in the downstairs bathroom had a screech to it. A cleaner would hear this so not sure why not fixed. Electrical socket to left of window in room beside the bathroom downstairs didn't work so thought heater was on but intermittent and switched off then plug didn't work at all. Great location and apartment had some nice features but ultimately disappointing

Positive: It was light and roomy enough for the 6adults and 4 children not to feel crowded. Bedrooms were a great size too. Location and the fact that bus stop was close by made getting into and out of Edinburgh very easy.

Negative: Sadly game machine didn’t work so children were disappointed and also coffee machine didn’t seem to work.
