Summary: Lovely hotel, our room was just perfect and so spacious. The hotel staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. The most comfortable bed ever and lovely bathroom. Breakfasts were superb as was dinner in the restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Summary: A lovely hotel in a great location, overlooking the local town and valley. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the coffee cups supplied could be a little larger. Decor throughout is obviously of the highest quality, but is quite dated. Most of the furniture is functional but very old. A good spread for breakfast, though the cooked breakfast is quite 'dry', which could be alleviated with a small serving of beans perhaps. Small gripes over a lovely stay.

Summary: The room was enormous and beautifully appointed. Restaurant was very good. Spa facilities excellent and the position was such that a 20 minute walk had you in the middle of town.

Summary: I never review hotels but this one is an exception. Knockranny is a true gem, and if you are in the area, you won't regret staying here. Everything about this hotel is perfect - from staff to bed sheets to the hotel grounds. I'll have to come back to Westport so I can stay here again!

Summary: Not family-friendly Kids are only allowed to use the pool from 9-12 on weekends, not during the week. I also wouldn’t call it a spa, the pool is freezing, no toiletries for use after the pool. The sauna and steam room were the worst iv ever been in. Swimming hats are €4 per person. I would have brought my own if this was mentioned in the description. There’s no arcade/ games room in which it’s stated there is. There is a pool table which is over 18s only. They also say they have archery and bike rentals which they don’t either. It’s a bit of a walk to the town also uphill so be aware of that if not so great at walking. Taxis are difficult to get at night. Might be an okay hotel for a couple but it is not family-friendly. I feel the hotel needs to change the description as it’s not completely accurate.
