The Yellow House is a beautiful detached home with 5 bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, lots of living space, a large garden near the town of Westport. The Westport Country Lodge is a boutique hotel, a mile away and has excellent food and a lively bar. The House is an ideal base for touring Achill, Connemara, Galway, and Mayo. It is family-friendly and a perfect setting for evening BBQ,s. There are lovely country walks nearby. Westport has lots of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema, and leisure centre.
This property has a wood fire stove to keep you cosy and warm during your stay.
Staying here also allows you access to the private garden.

Summary: Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll.

Summary: We stayed at the Yellow House for only one night on a busy trip across Ireland but we all wished we'd listened to Jimmy and spent a couple of days there. The house is beautiful and clean and everything it is described to be in all of the favorable reviews.

Summary: We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Yellow House just outside of Westport, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family and friends. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the Irish countryside. Summary: A wonderful, large, well-kept and very homely property in a beautiful and quiet location. Excellent beaches, hiking and cuisine in close proximity. Just a short drive to amenities in Aughagower and Westport, and to the sights of Co. Mayo further afield. Lovely large gardens for playing with the family, or simply for socialising. Hosts were great too - we would happily book to stay here again. Thank you!
