Positive: Kevans casa staff were exceptional. They were always happy to help, polite and I always felt safe as a solo female traveller. The rooms were also beautifully furnished and decorated. Because the location was so close to the Mahinganaya bus stand, I also found it quite easy to navigate and find tuk-tuk rides

Negative: Outside machine noise...until mid night of my staying room. Room 215. No slippers inside room. I asking for that but request going outside to buy..

Positive: We highly recommend this place if you are visiting Mahiyangana. Bed is comfortable, room is clean (also serviced daily), has aircon and hot water. Breakfast is great with lots of options. Lunch and Dinner menus are also extensive, which is good considering this is not yet a high tourist area. The hotel workers speak good English and will assist you with everything. Their own tours mean you have everything you need in the one place. But you can also simply ask for a tuk tuk if you want to explore on your own. We did both the Dambana Vedda Village tour and the Rathna Ella Falls and it was amazing. The team really go above and beyond and they even packed us a take away breakfast as we checked out early for our next destination.

Positive: -Location was easy to find - the food was good - rooms and hotel looks good - comfortable beds

Negative: - no railing to hold onto in the staircase - so many flies in the breakfast area! This was a literal fight to eat breakfast while chasing away flies - toilets too small, no separate shower area

Positive: The lobby can be considered ok. The pool is not a pool at all.

Negative: The bedrooms (at least the ground floor ones) are a joke. The bathroom is not even a camping bathroom, with showers directly on the wc. The staff is nice, but I can not understand how is possible to take one hour to get food and drinks in à basically empty hotel!
