Positive: We stayed here for three nights. The stay here was excellent and wonderful. Nice room with all the amenities, terrace with a wonderful garden around. The hosts are a nice and loving family. During my stay, it was my birthday. The hosts prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for me. I recommend everyone to stay here. The nicest place to stay during the trip

Positive: Location is very good. Easy access due to facing a main road and its just 4km to Mahiyangana Temple. Owners are very friendly and very helpful and happy with their hospitality. Calm, quiet and greeny environment at the guest house. Also I think its value for the money.
Negative: Its good if bathroom fittings were bit more good quality.

Positive: Run by a delightful family who made us very welcome. The food was exceptional - home cooking at its best. We also enjoyed their company. They recommended a visit to the local lake which was very enjoyable at sunset.

Positive: An old- fashioned guesthouse, simple and quiet, the hosts too are polite and helpful in an older style. Far enough back from the road to cushion traffic noise. Relaxing to sit on the terrasse in front of your bungalow with a cup of tea.

Positive: Fantastic people, we had some interesting & in-depth conversations on a range of topics.
Negative: Unfortunately the rooms are not very clean & need some repairs. The most disappointing part of our stay was when we paid the bill. We were charged for water, cups of tea & a strange tax we haven’t heard of before. Breakfast & dinner costs were exorbitant. This very basic accommodation ended up costing more than much nicer accommodation elsewhere. Felt very deceived.
Summary: Lovely people but run down & not value for money.

Positive: The location was great, filled with plants and flowers. The host was very nice, he got us a car very early when we left because the area is remote so no ride apps working. Not luxurious but great worth for the money.

Positive: We couldn't find anywhere to stay in the town we ended up in at sunset, so found the nest on booking.com. The owner was so friendly and very accommodating, staying up for a late check in and ensuring we had dinner on arrival. Our room was comfortable and close to town. We also heard elephants nearby. Plenty of space for parking our tuk tuk onsite as well.

Positive: Absolutely the best part of staying at the Nest are people who manage this lovely guesthouse. They welcome you with a smile, cup of tea and great conversations. They even offered to join me on my trip to the indigenous people of the forest in Dambana. More places with atmosphere like that <3
