Positive: My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.

Positive: The owners could not have been more helpful. The house was very clean and the bed comfortable. The Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. We are cycling so this place suited us fine as location is everything after 6 hours in the saddle.

Negative: The kitchenette is very basic with nothing other than a sink. A kettle would have been good although the owners, who live in the other half of the semi-detached house, provided us with hot water. They also let us use their kitchen to heat a pizza from Cargill's.

Positive: The room was very spaceous with lots of bars to dry towels. The bathroom was fresh and clean.

Negative: A window could not be closed properly.

Positive: Nice little two bedroom villa! Recently built. It was clean and the host family were just next door to help with anything we needed. They took us to a Lake where we could swim and the temple with the giant Buda. We originally only planned this place for a stop over on our way more inland to break up a long drive but we were pleasantly surprised with how nice the area was and how many things that were to do around
