Positive: Such a beautiful and welcoming place! Can’t recommend this place enough. They really treat you like family and you’ll be recommended locations that not a lot of tourists know about. If you want to be really grasp the feeling of “living in hawaii” this is the best place to stay:) Kristine and her family are amazing people and my boyfriend and I would’ve stayed forever if we could.

Positive: The apartment was clean and homely with everything you need to cook, relax or take to the beach, Only a 5 min drive or 15 min walk to shops and restaurants, and parking on the property. Anne who lives in the connecting house was super friendly and helpful. This would be a great location to explore the Eastern side of Oahu or as a base for those who don't want to stay in Honolulu.

Negative: Getting into the property was a bit confusing, but look out for an email with pictures and instructions - this is essential. There are quite a few hunting dogs in cages which is a bit intimidating and they often bark, but got used to me eventually. The signs at the front of the house about trespassers being shot are a bit off-putting for a visitor.

Positive: The apartment is lovely, and bigger than it looks in the photos. It also has a tiny balcony. 20 min walk to the beautiful beach, and to a large supermarket.

Negative: Very unfortunate timing that the air conditioning was being repaired, and took ages, at a time when we wanted to rest.
